Overall, this seems to be a good unit but I would say the hardware outclasses the instructions. In other words, as a newbie to tattooing, the instructions seem to exclude discussing or even showing how to make critical adjustments. For instance, we had to just try lots of button mashing to discover how to make adjustments for the speed or NPI as it was not well described in the manual. After lots of exploring we are impressed with the units options and handling but it would have been a bit easier if the instructions better demonstrated all the settings and how to get to them. The practice skin gives you a much better understanding of how the changes to the tips and NPI impact the end result as you build up confidence to use it. Overall, we were impressed but as described, we just wish we had better instructions to increase our confidence that we were doing things correctly.

after doing 3 pretty large pieces and spending some hours with the Wormhole Pro, I have to say this is by far the best machine I have or have used. I can use one of my other machines, same tip, same settings and this will put down lines that are so crisp and beyond dark. My tattoos I did with my other machines look good and are dark, but this is next level black. By far the best tattoo machine you can get for $100. I'll never use my other pen for lining again, it can't compete. The "Free Derry" sign was done all with the Wormhole Pro, even the color. If you look at the guy in the long coat next to it, I redid the outer line for the jacket under his arm and it's way darker compared to the rest of his lining. Same carts, same ink.

As I always say with machines like this, these cheap inks are NOT MEANT FOR USE ON LIVE SKIN!!!! I reccomend throwing them away all together and working with the brands you intend to always work with so you learn how they look, apply and how they mix with other colors/tones etc. But I also know that quality inks can be and are rather expensive to purchase for someone just starting out and playing around with it and practicing. So if this is just a hobby fun time for you, you're new to the industry/art form and aren't sure if you actually like it and want to keep up on it, then these inks would do fine.
